Out Loud HSV

Out Loud HSV is a literary community in Huntsville, Alabama, known for its dynamic events that showcase diverse voices. For the 2019 edition of their annual anthology, I was commissioned to design the cover. Inspired by Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, I chose to reference the mythological theme of creativity’s origin, symbolizing the vibrant, creative energy within the local literary scene. For the 2020 edition, I had the special opportunity to collaborate with my son, who contributed the bird illustration that graces the cover, making it a truly personal project.
