Doctor Who
Doctor Who is one of the oldest and most beloved sci-fi franchises, with merchandise growing in demand. However, much of the early history remains overlooked. For a project with Magic is Science, I designed a set of concept cards as if they were part of a Doctor Who card game. The cards were digitally illustrated, printed, and then aged with coffee stains to create a worn, vintage look that paid homage to the series’ roots.

Ambassadeurs: Tom Baker
This piece reinterprets Toulouse-Lautrec’s Ambassadeurs: Aristide Bruant poster, featuring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor. The original pen-and-ink illustration was scanned, then colored and textured in Adobe Photoshop to capture the essence of the original while giving it a unique twist.

At the conclusion of the Magic is Science project, there was still plenty of creative energy left—much like the TARDIS itself! Over the years, I’ve continued to design Doctor Who-inspired imagery, creating a variety of items including stickers, bags, illustrations, and even Valentine’s cards. Each piece reflects my ongoing love for the series and its timeless appeal.
